The new Osaka Punch “How we operate” music video was directed by Dan Macarthur and Mel Poole and shot in the band’s home town of Brisbane.

The music video directors are known for their stand-out clips and this is no exception – it even features a hotdog falling in slow motion – a specific request from the band which has a reputation for their cheeky approach.

Lead singer Jack Venables said the clip far exceeded their expectations.

“The team at 18 Degrees was super cool to work with and the whole process was totally pro…our fans absolutely f%$ing love the clip!” he said.

The new clip is the first release from Osaka Punch’s new album and premiered on TheMusic.com.au

Shot on Arri Alexa Mini, the clip showcased iconic Brisbane locations like the Valley Mall and featured a 8-foot high silver stiletto bicycle shoe!  Yes you heard correctly!  Rumour has it BCC may have tried to ask the rider of said shoe to remove themselves from the mall…but that didn’t stop production!

Director Dan Macarthur has mega experience when it comes to award-winning music videos – having shot clips for Powderfinger,  The Whitlams, The Butterfly Effect, Killing Heidi, Regurgitator and even a world tour with our Rusty and his Thirty Odd Foot of Grunt.

The team also recently won best music video at the West End Film Festival for Darren Middleton’s Slowly Draw Back video, directed by Mel Poole.
