Our team at 18 Degrees, a leading Brisbane video production company, has been collaborating with McNab since 2018, when we first created a wildly unconventional prestart safety video that quickly became one of the most requested styles in the industry. It was quirky, cinematic, and actually watchable- proving safety doesn’t have to mean snoozy.

2024: A Fax Machine, a 90s Tie & a Lot of Laughs

Last year’s brand video took a nostalgic turn. Think: a 90s-style history lesson, complete with fax machines, dancing team members, bloopers, and a cameo from Michael McNab himself. It was a love letter to the company’s roots – fun, irreverent, and full of culture.

2025: Flying Utes, Green Screens & Cinematic Swagger

This year, we turned it up. Directed by Brisbane Director Mel Poole and shot by award-winning Brisbane Cinematographer Dan Macarthur, the 2025 McNab video goes bigger, bolder, and greener – literally. With seamless green screen effects and a flying ute (yes, really), this brand film captures the energy and ambition of a company that’s not afraid to do things differently.
