This brand marketing for Ramsay Healthcare utilises emotive imagery of Ramsay staff, looking after their patients (some of which were real patients). This promotional video directed by Mel Poole and was shot on our Arri Alexa Mini by cinematographer Dan Macarthur.
We loved working on this brand video, with marketing gurus Alike Agency, this brand story communicates both to external and internal viewers that “Caring is a way of life” – it’s “The Ramsay Way.”
Using a combination of actors and actual Ramsay staff, this brand video harnesses the emotion behind each and every element of hospital life. And we’ve discovered over the years that this is how brands can connect with their consumers, in a meaningful way.
Ramsay Health Care was established by Paul Ramsay, in Sydney, Australia, in 1964 and has grown to become a global hospital group operating over 220 hospitals and day surgery facilities across Australia, France, the United Kingdom, Indonesia and Malaysia. It is one of the top five private hospital operators in the world.
It’s important to us as film makers to really grasp what our clients are about, as this helps us create something unique that will sell their story. That was the premise of this project, we wanted to follow the mantra,
“Highlighting patient care, staff camaraderie and what it means to care.”
